I can resonate to today’s youth as I felt back in my days there was not a lot of awareness or focus on opportunities for Youths to develop their sporting talents.
Football is socially acceptable in many communities – it is a means to help teenagers avert their energy from forming wrong habits. Personally it gives me the satisfaction I can make a difference in someone’s life, at the same time make a profound contribution to the community.
For the past two years, we have aligned ourselves with Treasure House Orphanage known as Treasure House Christian Children’s Home in Nadi, Fiji.
We have been visiting the orphanage every October to help them fulfill their wishlist.
Over the years I have given my time and support to the local community helping out with the youth of today.
I have been actively associated with the Mangere United Football Club for the past 13 years as a dedicated member. I have enjoyed participating – playing and observing to currently assisting the club.
